IPv6 -- the Modern Internet
IPv6 is coming and very much sooner rather than later. APNIC was the first RIR to exhaust its pool, running out of addresses on the 15th April 2011. On September the 14th 2012 RIPE became the second RAR to exhaust their free pool. Time is against us.
